Each school’s volunteer program reflects its individual culture, needs, and strengths. Key to the success of your volunteer program is the leadership provided by the team of Staff Liaison for Volunteers (a staff person) and the Volunteer Coordinator (a volunteer). This leadership team manages the school’s volunteer activities and programs. Ideally the volunteer team is part of a consolidated committee that handles all community involvement activities at the school.
A well-organized volunteer program requires planning, based on the school calendar and your particular school’s community involvement goals. We are here to assist you by providing training, materials, and guidance.
