Instructions to guide you through the correct process are provided below:
The Superintendent’s Screening Committee does not endorse or recommend fundraising or supply raising activities. Further, principals do not require approval from the Superintendent’s Screening Committee for such activities. The school principal or his/her designee can determine the appropriateness for their staff and students. Participation by the school for either the distribution of material relating to the proposed activity or other support is at the discretion of each individual principal.
Please be aware that typically, fundraising or supply raising activities are handled through collaboration between the school and PTA or PTO at the elementary level. Therefore, we recommend that you contact the school’s PTA/PTO representative to determine if they would like to adopt your proposal. At the secondary level, student groups or booster clubs such as student government might want to participate in your program.
