Overview

In addition to facilitating community involvement within the school system and for the district's major events, the department also provides coordination and/or planning for the school system's participation in community state or national events.

The department also facilitates relationships between the community and education through:

1. A review of incoming requests via the Superintendent's Screening Committee.
2. Maintaining relationships with businesses, government and non-profit organizations by assisting with local community projects.
3. Facilitating the district's involvement with parent organizations.
4. Developing district-wide partnership programs that support the district's over all strategic goals.
5. Coordinating the school district’s employee recognition programs.
