INVOLVEMENT BRINGS POSITIVE RESULTS!The Broward County Schools Community Involvement Department fosters collective participation in the educational arena. Click one of the links on our home page to begin your exploration. GETTING STARTEDYour efforts, whether as one individual, or one community organization can make a significant difference in the lives of our community's children; just by spending a little of your time supporting Education. We want you to get involved in Education and help make our schools great. The school system has identified community involvement as one of the key areas within the school system's strategic plan. Most schools believe that community involvement is vital to student achievement. There are many ways that you can help schools and district departments. Reading coaches, tutors and mentors are just three of the hundreds of community involvement opportunities waiting for you. Businesses and community organizations can "partner" with specific schools or departments and assist with a variety of activities designed to improve student achievement. If you are one of the district's more than 45,400 volunteers, or a member of one of the 2350 school level partners, we thank you for your continued support. If you're not involved, now's the time to start! It's as simple as scroll and click. WHAT'S RIGHT WITH OUR SCHOOLS
